Mary is newly single and, although she finds life a little scary right now, feels very liberated. She's a gas and bond underwriter-in-training who cooks, reads and runs on the side. While she likes a confident man, she doesn't care for the cocky. "Whoever he is, he has to make me laught," she says. "Good shoulders and a strong back help, too."
